Head Coach – R3 Fast Track

Kyle Stanley, known to many as "Coach Kyle," is the Founder and Head Coach of R3 Fast Track, a highly respected and rapidly emerging track club in the sport of track and field. His dedication to nurturing young athletes is matched only by his own illustrious career as a track and field competitor.

Athletic Background and Achievements

Kyle has had the distinct honor of representing his home country, Trinidad and Tobago, on the international stage. His journey began with a major appearance at the Carifta Games, marking his debut on the Junior National Team and establishing him as one of the best young athletes in the country. His talent was further showcased at the World University Games in 2015, held in Gwangju, South Korea, a prestigious event second only to the Olympic Games in magnitude.

At Tusculum University, Kyle’s athletic prowess was on full display as he competed in NCAA Track and Field from 2018 to 2021, setting records in the 600m and 500m events. His career includes notable performances at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia and the Carifta Games, where he played a key role in helping Trinidad and Tobago secure a bronze medal in the 4x400m relay.

In high school, Kyle earned the Sportsperson of the Year award in 2013 and received the Daystar Swift Award for Most Outstanding Student in Sports. His contributions were further recognized with the Victor Ludorum (MVP) Award for Boys Under 17 at the Caroni District National Secondary Schools Track & Field Championships in 2012.

Educational Qualifications

Kyle holds a Master’s in Business Administration (2020-2021) and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice (2018-2020) from Tusculum University. His academic foundation was built at the University of Trinidad and Tobago, where he earned a Certificate and Diploma in Security & Public Safety, as well as a Certificate in Sports Studies.

Coaching Experience and Philosophy

Kyle’s coaching journey began through personal training, where he discovered a deep passion for mentoring young athletes. As Head Coach of R3 Fast Track, he has successfully guided over 45 athletes to compete at the Junior Olympic Games from 2022 to 2024. During the 2024 track season, Coach Kyle achieved remarkable success by leading two athletes to national titles. Chase Staten won the boys' 11u 60m with a lifetime best of 7.90 at the AAU Indoor Nationals in West Virginia, while London Lee captured the girls' 8u 100m title with a lifetime best of 14.83 at the AAU Club National Championship. London also earned second place in both the 200m and 400m events.

Under his leadership, many athletes have become state and regional champions, and others who had never experienced success in the sport now proudly call themselves winners.

In addition to his role at R3 Fast Track, Kyle has served as a coach and Assistant Facility Director at Max Speed Performance Fitness, specializing in speed, technique, and power development for athletes aged 5 to 17 across various sports. His responsibilities included managing facility operations, marketing, and community outreach.

Coach Kyle’s philosophy centers on self-discipline, courage, and confidence—qualities he instills in his athletes to help them achieve success both on and off the track. His commitment to the sport and to the development of young talent continues to make a lasting impact on the track and field community.

When he's not coaching or working out at the gym, Coach Kyle enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, indulging in water sports such as wakeboarding and swimming, and traveling to new places to experience different cultures.
